A handwoven cotton bedcover in the Noir check, made in a single run of six pieces. Each measures three metres by three metres, large enough to drape a king bed with proper overhang on all sides, and is constructed in three joined panels — a traditional method that allows the fabric to be woven on small looms while keeping the integrity of the pattern across the seams.
The Noir check is built from grouped clusters of fine cream lines on a deep ink ground, closer in structure to a fine glen plaid than a country tartan. At bedcover scale, the pattern reads as quiet rhythm across the room rather than a graphic statement — a piece that anchors a bedroom without dominating it.
Handwoven from 100% cotton on small looms in India. Each bedcover is finished by hand and is, by the nature of the process, slightly different from the next. When this run of six is sold, the bedcover will not be made again.

For over 30 years, BHD Home has worked with the same family in India — our own dedicated production unit where every cushion is made by hand, in small batches.
Some of the handlooms in our studio are over 100 years old. The same techniques, the same care, producing a texture and warmth that machines simply cannot replicate.
We keep our collections small deliberately. It means we can stand behind every piece — checking quality, maintaining our craft, and ensuring that what arrives at your door is something worth keeping for years.

Organic Linen
We use all handmade organic linen which is ethically sourced and produced.
Each thread of a hand-loomed fabric is infused with the heart of its maker, from the rhythmic strokes of the loom, the patient hands threading each strand through heddles and reeds and the careful interlacing of hand-spun yarn to bring patterns to life. It is a slow and careful process where every motion is infused with tradition and every weave a reflection of generations of skill. More than just a textile, it is a living heritage that tells a story of artistry and culture.
