MILLS - EDITION ONE
For thirty-three years, BHD has curated. With Mills, we've started to commission.
Mills — Edition One is nine pieces, handwoven for us on small looms in India — six in a blend of linen, cotton and silk, three in pure cotton, and three limited-edition coverlets numbered by hand. Every piece is cover-only, so the choice of insert sits with the room it's going into.
Made in small runs, naturally limited by what the looms can produce — closer to the way clothing is commissioned than the way homewares are usually sold. Properly made, properly considered, properly priced for a room you actually live in.
The first edition. We expect there will be others.
